Secondo quanto riportato dal sito Sing Out Song Contest (in data 27 marzo scorso), la cantante irlandese sarebbe stata invitata ad esibirsi – in qualità di rappresentante dell’Irlanda – per la tredicesima edizione del contest canoro. A quanto pare però Enya avrebbe rinunciato a parteciparvi; lo stesso sito in data 5 aprile rendeva infatti noto quanto segue:“We extended an invitation to Enya to represent Ireland at SOSC 13,” says Cameron, the Irish HOD, “but she turned down the offer due to work on her upcoming album.” This does not rule out the possibility that Enya may represent Ireland at some point in the future, however.
Quello che inizialmente, a detta del sito Sing Out Song Contest, sembrava essere un semplice gossip (Rumors from Ireland about SOSC 13) parrebbe avere fondatezza (Enya rumours “false” says Irish HOD).

This is interesting, I didn't know they invited Enya. But I am not really suprised that she didn't accept. I prefer her working on the new album :)

I think that she is very busy recording the new album and for the tour (i think that the second is taking her much more time because we know that it will be her first time since she performed with the Clannad). It's her chance to do something very big and to put a significant mark in her career.
